Affirming Gospel values and working to help our students learn to live out those values is primary among our six Carmelite high schools throughout the United States and Peru. As important as it is to prepare students for a competitive college experience and work world, as Carmelites our mission is to help them also uncover the presence of God in their lives.

Carmel High School in Mundelein, Illinois is a Blue Ribbon School for its academic excellence, but also because of the environment it creates for students. "The development of the student body into one cohesive family is astounding," wrote Dr. James Zoll in a report for the U.S. Secretary of Education.
Carmel's students, like those of other Carmelite high schools, go on to Cornell, the University of Chicago, Yale, Notre Dame, and Columbia. At Crespi High School in Encino, California, 95 percent of the graduating class goes on to a four-year college or university. And Salpointe's honors program is well-known throughout the area.

Perhaps most important, students at our schools have an opportunity to develop their faith and build a sense of responsibility for the world. Through campus ministry retreats, participation in organizations such as Amnesty International, and service clubs, students learn that their actions make a difference.
