Because community is so important to us, we work very hard to be sure that those joining our Carmelite way of life feel a part of us. Even when school or a particular ministry seems to take precedence, we make time for common Eucharist and prayer. It can be tough to live with other people, even people very important to us. But, our rule and our constitution call us to mutual love and respect, to acceptance for all, and to challenge each other when necessary to be better brothers to one another. Ideally, we learn more about God's presence in our lives through our experiences with one another. When people tell us we have a welcoming community and really seem to like each other, we know we've done something right. That's what we strive for. That's what we invite you to experience.
