Father Patrick on BBC Television

Father Patrick McMahon, O.Carm., a member of the North American Province, was a regular consultant with the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) during the funeral of Pope John Paul II and the conclave to elect Pope Benedict XVI.

This interview picture is with a BBC newscaster Emma Jane Kirby during an televised interview from the Janiculum overlooking St Peter’s Square in Rome during the morning of the funeral of Pope John Paul II. Some of Father Patrick’s broadcasts also appeared on the CBS network in the United States.
