Look around you. Take the time to consider exactly where you are at this moment. Breathe deeply and meditate on the fact that God knows you, right now, wherever you are. God is with you at this moment and sees you and knows the desires of your heart.
Take a deep breath and allow God's desires to fill your heart.
Exhale, and let go of your worries and those things to which you have been clinging and which may have gotten in the way of your relationship with God today. Take two more deep breaths.
Where neither the appetites nor concupiscence reign, there is no disturbance but only God's peace and consolation.
St. John of the Cross
A commitment to God in Jesus Christ, our one love, and detachment from all that draws us away from our one love, gives us “only God’s peace and consolation.” Ask for the grace to focus on your one great Love, as you pray today.
Quiet yourself. Open your heart.
Take three deep breaths.
Disconnect and listen.
