Look around you. Take the time to consider exactly where you are at this moment. Breathe deeply and meditate on the fact that God knows you, right now, wherever you are. God is with you at this moment and sees you and knows the desires of your heart.
Take a deep breath and allow God's desires to fill your heart.
Exhale, and let go of your worries and those things to which you have been clinging and which may have gotten in the way of your relationship with God today. Take two more deep breaths.
The limitless loving devotion to God, and the gift God makes of Himself to you, are the highest elevation of which the heart is capable; souls that have reached this point are truly the heart of the Church.
St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross
Intimacy with God is the fruit of contemplative prayer and the bedrock of the Church. As you pray today, seek God with your whole heart and soul!
Quiet yourself. Open your heart.
Take three deep breaths.
Disconnect and listen.
