Look around you. Take the time to consider exactly where you are at this moment. Breathe deeply and meditate on the fact that God knows you, right now, wherever you are. God is with you at this moment and sees you and knows the desires of your heart.
Take a deep breath and allow God's desires to fill your heart.
Exhale, and let go of your worries and those things to which you have been clinging and which may have gotten in the way of your relationship with God today. Take two more deep breaths.
Jesus does not need books or learned men to instruct souls. He, the Doctor of doctors, teaches without noise of words. I have never heard Him speak, but I know that He is within me.
St. Therese of Lisieux
In the gospels, Jesus tells the disciples (and us) not to worry about what to say or do because the Spirit will give them what they need if they are open to the Spirit’s guidance. In your prayer today, call upon the Spirit who dwells within you.
Quiet yourself. Open your heart.
Take three deep breaths.
Disconnect and listen.
