Breathe deeply and simply rest.
For a moment, do not think about what you must do later today.
Simply allow yourself to gather strength from God's love, to be replenished by God's mercy, invigorated by God's very presence.
Give thanks to God for this energizing love.
..just as you did it to one of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.
“As for what concerns our relations with our fellow men, the anguish in our neighbor’s soul must break all precept.” (St. Teresa Benedicta) Spend some time this week offering to help at a soup kitchen, a shelter for abused women, or a senior citizen in need of companionship. See Christ in those whom you serve.
Quiet yourself. Open your heart.
Take three deep breaths.
Disconnect and listen.
How long would you like to pray for?
