Put yourself in a comfortable position.
Consider God's unconditional love for you. Breathe deeply.
Jesus said, ''Are not five sparrows sold for two small coins? Yet not one of them has escaped the notice of God. Even the hairs of your head have all been counted.''
Take a deep breath and exhale slowly as you try to imagine yourself as God sees you.
Because of its obscurity [the soul] calls contemplation night.
St. John of the Cross
Contemplating the mystery of God is often like walking in the dark – an obscure and uncertain journey. However, night also allows one to see in new ways, to notice things not apparent during the day. Pray today in gratitude for the graces you have received in the “night.”
Quiet yourself. Open your heart.
Take three deep breaths.
Disconnect and listen.
How long would you like to pray for?
