Br. Daryl Moresco

Provincial Director of Vocation

  • Born and raised: Melbourne, Australia
  • Simply Professed: February 11, 1973
  • Solemnly Professed: October 12, 1980
  • Earned a teaching degree in 1979 from Australian Catholic University. He taught for 20 years at both elementary and high school levels. At various times he was Director of Religious Education/Theology, Teacher, Campus Minister and Retreat Director in Carmelite high schools both in Australia and the U.S.
  • In 2001, he came to Washington Theological Union, in DC and earned a Certificate in Carmelite Studies and a Masters in Pastoral Studies.
  • In addition to his job as the Provincial Director of Vocations, he is also the Director of Pre-Novitiate Formation in Chicago.

  • Solemnly Professed at Whitefriars Hall, Washington D.C., December 14, 2001
  • Ordained Priest at St. Raphael Parish, Los Angeles, June 1, 2002
  • Graduated from St. John’s Seminary College, Camarillo, CA
  • Graduated from The Washington Theological Union, Washington D.C.
  • Received Masters of Science in Education at Mount St. Mary’s College, Los Angeles, CA
  • Crespi Carmelite High School teacher 2002- 2004; principal from 2004 to 2013
  • Assisted at parishes in Brentwood, Woodland Hills, Van Nuys, and Los Angeles
